Two weeks ago in BTec music we started thinking about what to perform for our mini-gig, and we decided that our two chosen genres will be Pop and Funk.
Pop seemed like a very logical choice as it is a very wide genre giving us a lot to choose from. It is also means we can play music that our audience are more likely to know and enjoy.
Funk is something that is different to what all of the class members usually play but we thought we could also play funk-rock, e.g. The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
